All of our rescues come with age-appropriate shots, microchip, flea and tick preventative, and are spayed or neutered.

Wendy

Wendy earned her name when she was found all alone at a Wendys in Knox County. She was scooped up by a Haven volunteer and taken home to be spoiled and loved! Wendy is now ready to find her forever home!

Soda

Soda was one of the first moms we took in, it was not long after that when she birthed her kittens. After she was done nursing them Soda was passed off to one of our fosters, who had orphaned kittens in her care; while Soda could no longer nurse she snuggled and looked after the orphaned kittens as if they were her own.

Now that those kittens no longer need the care of a mother cat Soda is looking for a place to call her forever home. She's super affectionate, and loves people. She's spayed and is up to date on all vaccinations and flea prevention.

Chubs

Chubs, formerly an outdoor community cat, was transformed into an indoor cat when the weather started becoming cool! Chubs, so named because of his chunky tom cat face and bod, is about 4 years old, and enjoys lounging around and looking out windows. Chubs enjoys the company of spayed, female cats, but can get a little defensive around other males. Chubs is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on flea and tick meds. He would love to be an indoor/outdoor cat.

Mr. Beaver

Mr. Beaver turned up at the rescue one day with a broken wrist. Originally an outdoor colony cat of Lawrence county, Mr. Beaver has adjusted well to his doctor prescribed indoor life. He can often be found lounging in his cat bed, on his foster human’s bed, or on a windowsill. Beaver adores cuddles and will sit and purr for as long as you're willing to pet him. His favorite is to be scratched on his head and under his chin.

Mr. Beaver will have weekly splint changes until late November/early December that will be covered by the rescue even after adoption.

Rufus

Great lap kitten with high energy. Would be best with another kitten his age and/or older. He can play too rough with younger kittens. Is also very sweet and affectionate.

Patches

Patches was taken in by a kind family who tends to have cats dumped on their property. He came in with a bunch of siblings who will soon be ready for adoption!

Fish

Fish came to us after a local "non-kill" shelter took him to be euthanized after he tested positive for FIV.

Fluffy

Fluffy was taken in by a kind family who tends to have cats dumped on their property. He came in with a bunch of siblings who will soon be ready for adoption!

Kovu

Kovu was surrendered with his mother and litter mates in September. He was in critical condition with severe flea anemia but was thankfully able to overcome the condition with round the clock care

Kovu is a shy, timid boy and would do best as a barn cat or in a quiet, patient new home who would continue socialization and earning his trust.

Lucky

Lucky came from one of our colonies where people tend to dump unwanted animals.
